Care Guide

Light: Thrives in bright, indirect light and benefits from several hours of direct sunlight each day. A south or west-facing window is ideal for indoor placement.

Water: Allow the soil to dry completely between waterings. Water thoroughly every 2 to 4 weeks during spring and summer, and every 4 to 6 weeks during fall and winter. This plant is highly drought tolerant and prefers underwatering to overwatering.

Temperature: Prefers temperatures between 65°F and 85°F (18°C to 29°C). Protect from frost and prolonged temperatures below 50°F (10°C).

Soil: Plant in a well-draining cactus or succulent soil mix within a planter that provides proper drainage.

Maintenance: Very little maintenance is required. Remove any damaged stems with clean pruning shears and rotate the planter every few months to encourage balanced growth. Dust can be gently wiped from the stems as needed.

Safety

This plant contains a white, milky sap that can irritate skin and eyes and is toxic if ingested. Keep out of reach of children and pets, and always wear gloves when pruning or handling damaged stems.
